Notes

My first post on tumblr! It's the drafted sequel to 'Bargain' for Giotto x Haru that I didn't like how it turned out. I know a few were curious and now I finally have a platform to post my incompleted or 'drafted/discarded' work! :) Hopefully I'll have time to post other incompleted work or any work that I have written, but didn't have any plans on actually posting on my blog.

As for my current WIP, I'm currently working on Ambigram!

Mine

HappyFace1886

“Haru is mine so stay away, stupid!” Lambo yelled, shoving I-Pin. The younger girl made a sound of protest, but Lambo pushed at her face with his foot and prevented her from standing up. She attempted to fight back by flailing her arms wildly, but found that her limbs to be too short to reach the busy haired boy. Lambo laughed in triumphed. How dare this stupid tail head think she was even a match for the likes of him? “Haha, Lambo-sama is the best! Someone like you can’t hope to ever reach my-urk!”

I-Pin, having had enough of the boy’s nonsense, chucked one of her buns at his head. It hit him smack in the middle of his forehead and Lambo was sent sprawling backwards onto the ground. He held onto the back of his head where it had hit the ground, the bun having stunned him more than hurt him. Tears gathered in his eyes and he glowered angrily at I-Pin.

“You stupid!” he yelled and dug his hand into his hair, pulling out the impossibly large bazooka from in there. He turned to aim it at I-Pin, failing to realize that he was actually holding it the other way around. “Take this!”

I-Pin squeaked and covered her hand with her face, preparing herself for the inevitable. There was a loud explosion and she remained still, a gust of wind blowing right past her. Then she paused, feeling no different from just a second ago. Peeking between her fingers, she saw that the Lambo she knew was no long there.

Fifteen year old Bovino Lambo sat on the ground, looking stunned at the sudden development. His face was flushed and it was obvious that he had just been in tears. He let out a loud yell and stood up. “I’m... I’m back? Is it ten years ago right now?”

“Eh?” I-Pin stared at the older boy in confusion, but he paid no mind to her. In fact, he looked ecstatic at the fact that she was right there in front of him.

“Yes! You’re a kid right now!” he cried out. “That means I’m back in the past! It’s not too late!”

I-Pin stared as the older Lambo suddenly jumped onto his feet and began speeding out of the park.

What was that about?

Lambo’s chest heaved and his muscles burned with how fast he was running; however, nothing mattered other than the fact that he had to hurry. He only had five minutes until the effects wore off and he ended up back in the future. But where could she possibly be? He was running blindly right now!

“Pleeeaasseee, Kyoko-chan?”

His foot skidded as he heard the all too familiar voice and he hopped a few steps before leaped backwards, pressing his back against the brick fence. He peered around the corner and felt his thundering heart skip a beat when he saw the tuft of brown hair and the happy laughter that tickled his ears.

“Are you sure you don’t want to come, Kyoko-chan?” Haru pressed, nudging the orange haired girl. “I-Pin-chan and Lambo-chan would be really happy if you joined us at the park today! Besides, we don’t get to play together enough!”

“Aw, I’m sorry Haru-chan,” Kyoko said with a slight shake of her head. “I promised my mom that I’d take care of the errands she gave me yesterday. Maybe next time. Say hi to I-Pin-chan and Lambo-chan for me.”

Haru pouted, but relented. “Fine, but it’s a promise! We can all get ice cream together next time.”

“It’s a promise,” Kyoko agreed and gave her a wave before running down the empty streets. Haru waved back, watching Kyoko disappear around the corner, before she sighed. She didn’t mind playing with I-Pin-chan and Lambo-chan on her own, but it would have been fun if there were more people around. The boys were too busy playing some sort of training game with Reborn-chan. It seemed as though everyone was too busy to hang out with each other these days.

Meanwhile, fifteen year old Lambo, in the place where he was hiding from Haru, clutched onto his heard as indecision suddenly struck. Three minutes. There were only three minutes left until the effects of the bazooka wore off, but who was he kidding? How could he have been so stupid to believe that something could change just because he was in the past? After all, he was from the future and he knew how things would turn out.

Haru-chan would end up with him.

He’d always have to see her pretty brown eyes glowing with affection towards him and how she’d blush so prettily whenever she’d hold hands with him. And when she turned her gaze towards him, all she’d see is the young boy she’d often play with during their childhood. She would never see him as anything more than a snot-nosed brat that’d always cling to her and cry whenever someone tried to steal her attention away from him.

Three minutes.

She’d never see him as a man. Never even regard him as a significant other. Forever and ever, he, Lambo Bovino, would be a simple boy she’d always warmly regard as a younger brother of sort. How could he even dare think that he could compete with the likes of him.

Him. They were both fighters, but he was much more experienced. He was a strong and formidable opponent that Lambo could only hope of dreaming to compete with when he was fully grown. Lambo wasn’t stupid. He knew he was still growing and his powers wouldn’t fully develop until he was much older. Though he was fifteen years old and of the age the other Guardians had first started getting involved in the mafia world, there was still a lot he needed to learn and grow in.

Right now... he was unworthy for someone like her.

Two and a half minutes.

Lambo turned the corner and stood right in front of the path Haru was walking in. She stopped in mid-step, startled at his sudden appearance. For a moment, she instinctively thought to run away from the strange boy who was breathing really hard with a desperate look on his face. However, there was something so oddly familiar about him.

The soft back curls that made up his wild and unruly hair. The yellow horns that stuck out at the side of his head. Then there were those shining green eyes that seemed to look so lost, staring down at her with what looked to be a tears forming in them.

“...Lambo-chan?” the name left her lips before she could even consider what she was saying. With a squeak, she covered her mouth with her hands. Lambo-chan was only a little boy. How could she even think that someone like this guy was him? “I-I’m s-.”

Two minutes.

Determination flashed through those green eyes and he suddenly grabbed Haru by the shoulders. She jumped in surprise and quickly glanced back and forth between the hands holding onto her and the guy in front of him. What was he-?

If he couldn’t have her in the future, then he’d at least let himself have this one moment with her. Lambo cupped the side of her face and tugged her closer, leaning forward so that he could press his lips against hers in a soft, intimate embrace.

“Oi, what the hell are you doing?” there was a loud snarl before a dynamite stick struck the side of Lambo’s head. It was enough to send him stumbling backwards, providing enough distance between him and Haru before the thing exploded.

Lambo sat on the ground with his hair all burnt up and in an afro akin to the style he had when he was much younger. He remained dazed and confused, wondering what the hell happened, when the sharp edge of a katana was pressed against his throat. A chill went down his spine and when he looked up, he saw the strained smile on Yamamoto’s face as he pressed the sword harder against his neck. “You know it’s rude to force yourself onto someone like that.”

A smooth metal pole pressed against the other side of his neck and Lambo’s eyes swiveled to the side to see a ticked off Hibari glaring white hot daggers at him. “Inappropriate conduct in my territory... I’ll bite you dead.”

“Are you okay, Haru-chan?” Tsuna asked in concern, holding his hand out towards Haru whose knees had buckled as soon as Lambo had been thrown to the side. “He didn’t do anything to you, did he?”

“N-No, Haru is fine,” she managed to stammer out, a heavy blush on her face as she reached out to grab Tsuna’s hand.

“Stupid woman, you should know better than to lower your guard around guys like that,” Gokudera growled, gruffly crossing his arms across his chest. “And the stupid cow, what the hell was he thinking?”

Lambo felt the tears now pouring down his eyes. He then slumped down onto the ground, wailing with his head thrown back. “No, this isn’t fair! Why did you guys have to show up like that? It’s not fair!”

“Lambo-chan, behave yourself!” Tsuna scolded, though any force behind his words was lost due to the surprise and uncertainty on his face.

“Hahi! That’s not Lambo-chan,” Haru said, looking puzzled.

“No, no, no, you guys are always getting in the way! It’s not fair,” Lambo then reached behind himself to whip out the ten-year bazooka from behind. He turned it around so that it was pressed against his temple and without hesitation, reached for where the trigger was.

“Oh shit,” Gokudera slapped his hand over his face. It was too late to stop the brat and he knew he really didn’t want to see the guy pull the trigger and bring who knows what to where they were right now.

There was a gust of smoke and Tsuna groaned out loud. No, not again. If Lambo-chan, while in his fifteen year old form, shot himself with the ten-year bazooka again, that meant his twenty-five year old form was going to make an appearance. He covered his eyes as a breeze blew the gust away and was surprised to see the five year old Lambo-chan sitting where the fifteen year old version had been sitting only seconds ago.

Everyone stared in silence at the sudden development before Yamamoto broke it, chuckling as he sheathed his sword. “Haha, I guess time ran out before Lambo-chan was able to pull the trigger again.”

“Humph, ridiculous,” Hibari turned away, his jacket covering up his tonfas.

“Well who asked you to follow us?” Gokudera snapped, pointing an accusing finger at Hibari. “You’re the one who demanded to know why Reborn was training us and then got all ‘fight me, infant, fight me!’”

“Wait, what’s going on?” Haru demanded. “Why are you guys fighting Reborn-chan and why’s Lambo-chan here all of a sudden? Who was that guy from before? Why did he look so much like Lambo-chan?”

“None of your business, stupid woman!”

“Haru is not stupid!”

“H-Haru-chan, I’m sure Gokudera-kun didn’t mean it like that,” Tsuna cried out, trying to stymie the fight that was about to break out.

“No, get away from Haru! She’s mine!” Lambo yelled, bulldozing his way through the boys in order to tackle-hug Haru. “It’s not fair! The bigger version of you guys were doing this too! But Haru is mine! Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!”

“W-What?” Gokudera sputtered, a streak of red blooming across his face. “What the hell are you going on about, you stupid cow? What bigger version of us?”

“You guys can’t trick the great Lambo! You just want her for yourself, but too bad! She’s mine!” Lambo latched onto Haru and stuck his tongue out derisively at Gokudera.

“Who would want anything to do with this stupid woman?” Gokudera hollered and Tsuna paled when he saw the angry vein throbbing on top of Haru’s face.

“Hahi, Haru doesn’t need to take this from anyone! Let’s go Lambo-chan. I bet I-Pin-chan is waiting for us at the park.” Haru and Lambo then both proceeded to stick their tongues out at Gokudera before Haru, holding onto Lambo, began to walk towards the direction of the park. “Thanks for your help Tsuna-kun, Yamamoto-kun, ....erm, Hibari-san.”

And as Haru ran away, no one knew of what fate had in store for them when within the next few weeks, Haru, on the throes of heartbreak, would walk into the rooftops of Namimori Junior High where she and a certain prefect had a dangerous conversation about the ‘power of love’.

Chapter Fourteen

HappyFace1886

“Mukuro.”

“Bianchi-san.” Contrasting with the sharp icy edge of her voice, Mukuro spoke with a lilt purr that sent a cold shiver down Haru’s spine. Her eyes continued swinging back and forth between the two before her and while she was no fighter, she could honestly say that there was some sort of weird aura that was clashing between the two.

“What are you doing here, Mukuro?” Bianchi casually twirled the plate with her fingers, causing the black miasma to flow gracefully in a small coil. She looked as though she was disinterested in the situation, paying more attention to the strange concoction she had on the dish. “It’s unlike you to venture into the libraries right after having a meeting with the other Guardians, disguising as me no less. One may think you may have some... unsavory plans in mind.”

“I’m hurt,” he said in a mocking tone. “I just happened across the Decimo’s latest toy and couldn’t help but tease her a bit... and perhaps I just had something I needed to do research on. After all, the enemy that we’re dealing with has a richer history than most people believe. Perhaps rivaling even in that of the Vongola’s. History just tends to distort the truth, especially when it’s written by the victor... and knowing the enemy is only half the battle.

“And how would exactly would you know the type of history they hold?” she inquired coolly.

Mukuro’s smile widened. “I am a Guardian of the Vongola. Isn’t it expected of me to have some knowledge concerning the Famiglia that holds my loyalty?”

Such a poisonous smooth talker, Bianchi thought with disdain. It was the way of the Mist flame to be such charismatic talkers. She and Mukuro normally didn’t cross paths, but neither of them really liked each other. If anything, they tolerated each other mostly due to their enjoyment of irritating Tsuna.

But she wouldn’t tolerate this.

“If you’re truly loyal to the brat,” the plate stopped spinning on her hand and the bulk of it was tilted to face where Mukuro stood, “then you should be out there in the field with the other Guardians. Knowledge is important, but if there’s something you believe will benefit us, even if it’s just a hunch or a clue, it would be more important to share with the others instead of acting on your own.”

Mukuro eyed the plate with carefully veiled derision. If there was one form of offensive ability that he disliked most, it was Bianchi’s poison cuisine. The odor was unpleasant and the sight of it more so. And despite his status of Guardian, he knew it would be no clean battle if the two were to fight it out. Besides, she wasn’t the reason why he was here.

“Fair point,” he conceded and tilted his head, heterochromic eyes twinkling with a light that made Haru flinch. “I just believed that with how tightly entwined the Shimon Famiglia is with the Vongola, it was only fair to research on them a bit further. Knowing the history of our present enemy might provide opportunities we may have overlooked.”

“Be it as it may, I believe you’ve outstayed your welcome here,” Bianchi informed him sharply when she saw the look he gave Haru. What was this snake up to now? “You should return to where the other Guardians are. Now.”

“Going, going,” he hummed in delight. There was no longer a need for him to linger. He’d already accomplished what he wanted.

Haru almost slumped to the ground after the soft tapping of Mukuro’s footsteps disappeared down the hallway. The tension had been so thick and overpowering that she had forgotten to breathe properly. Feeling light headed, she drew her hands to her chest, the cup still grasped tightly, and tried to inhale slowly.

“Are you alright, Haru?” Bianchi inquired softly, kneeling before her with a look of concern. Haru was grateful for her gentleness, wanting some form of consolation even if it was from a person she’d only known for a few hours.

“I-I’m fine,” she managed to stammer out.

Just what sort of mess had she become entangled in? It was bad enough when she was assaulted twice last night, but for it to nearly happen again when she was supposed to be ‘protected’? Granted, Bianchi-san did her job well and Haru was very appreciative for her presence, but it didn’t stop her from feeling disturbed by this entire situation.

Not to mention, the Mukuro guy was one of the pervert’s Guardians? Were the other Guardians so frightening with a cruel appearance? No, no, Yamamoto-san had such a gentle air about him and even though Gokudera-san was crude with his words, he didn’t seem as sinister as Mukuro-san. He didn’t look as though he had some form of hidden agenda and did not mind what sort of pawn he had to use to get what he wanted...

Haru involuntarily shivered and looked up, startled, when Bianchi slowly began to pry the cup from her hands.

“Are you frightened?”

The ridiculous question almost made Haru laugh in hysteria. Instead, she gave the older woman a weak smile. “Better than when I met Xanxus-san yesterday.”

Bianchi managed to return her smile, though hers looked more apologetic. “I’m sorry. I should have never left you alone like that.”

“No, no, it’s not your fault!” Haru replied quickly. “This is supposed to be a secure area, right? It is the Vongola’s headquarters after all... but... why does it appear as though you guys don’t get along with each other? Mukuro-san is a Guardian, so shouldn’t he be as loyal to the pervert as Gokudera-san and Yamamoto-san?”

“Let’s just say we’re an eccentric bunch,” Bianchi almost snorted at her own words, but it was the best way to sum it all up in simple terms. “It’s unlikely that Mukuro will be betraying us any time soon. Still, it’s known throughout the entire organization that he doesn’t really like his position as Guardian.”

“...then why does he stay?”

“Because being a Guardian benefits him as much as having him as a Guardian.” Bianchi placed the cup on a nearby table so that she wouldn’t have to see Haru’s eyes. She stared at the table, her hands lingering on top of the cup. “Listen carefully, Haru. Staying here means dealing with people like that. Constantly. Xanxus is also a part of the Vongola, but as you’ve probably experienced, he doesn’t give a damn that the brat... or pervert as you call him... is the heir. The moment the brat shows a hint of weakness, dozens of people will try and eat him alive. I suppose knowing that will help explain his... unusual behavior.”

Constantly surrounded by enemies.... always being on his toes because there will be dozens who would thrill at the chance of stomping on them.

“Everyone is a possible enemy.” She whispered so softly that Haru almost missed it. Almost.

“Even you, Bianchi-san?”

The question was poised so innocently and filled with disbelief that Bianchi swore that she thought it was a younger Tsuna asking the question. She rapidly blinked her eyes and turned her head, only to see Haru looking up at her with imploring eyes. “Yes, even me.”

“That’s not right,” Haru replied stubbornly. “You need allies and friends, no matter where and what you do.”

“Even friends can betray you,” Bianchi stated. Already, she could see the past incidents, be it hers, her brothers, or the brats. So many instances in which someone had stabbed them in the back, people who would sneer and delight in the fact that they were able to take advantage of them. “Enemies can take on the appearance of your allies. There’s never a true moment where you’re safe.”

“Is that what the pervert believes as well?”

There was no immediately response from Bianchi who looked away. It was funny how it seemed as though it was just yesterday when she’d meet the scrawny little brat with those big googly eyes and that ridiculously timid look on his face. It was even funnier imagining that that stupid looking kid would grow up to be so powerful and cruel.

She would need dozens of hands to count the number of times she’d seen him return back to HQ covered in blood after a long and arduous mission, his impassive eyes staring into nothingness while he walked down the cold corridor completely unharmed despite the blood that dripped down his fingertips. Everyone would stay away from him, remembering the first time he’d return in such a state.

Still on guard and adrenaline high, the moment they even took a step towards him, his reflexes would kick in and a wave of flames would come shooting out of his palm. Enemy or friend, he wanted no one near him. Over time, he got better at it, but everyone was still too nervous to get near him unless they were a close companion of his.

The whispers that had then thundered throughout the organization.

The true heir to the Vongola line.

Oh how great the Vongola would become once more with him as the head.

When Bianchi spoke, it sounded so weak and whimsical to her own ears. A ridiculous excuse that they hid behind for selfish reasons that no one needed to know other than themselves. “It’s what we do to survive.”

Enma stared out at the town he had infiltrated not so long ago. His jacket blew behind him while his hands remained loosely by his sides. The place looked so nice and peaceful. He could see several kids running around with each other while the adults called out to nearby potential customers, tempting them to their vendors and stores.

This was all fake, a ruse created by the Vongola for their own selfish reasons. They protected this region, claiming it as their territory, but they profited off of the fear of the people. Not that he should be surprised by this; the history of the Vongola was filled with blood.

Dirty, twisted, disgusting blood.

How many people did they step on in order to reach the summit they currently stood on? How many families did they destroy, the innocent people who had nothing to do with their blasted affairs?

Niisan!

Enma’s hands clenched into tight fists at the memory of his sister’s innocent voice calling out for him, how he could still remember her hand reaching out for him while she smiled cheerfully at him. He gritted his teeth, curbing the flames that threatened to flicker out. The Vongola would notice him immediately the moment he even leaked a bit of his strength. He wouldn’t mind taking them out; they were no match for his strength. However, that wasn’t part of the plan and if he wanted to obliterate this vile organization, he would need patience.

A flash of brown eyes stained with tears and anger appeared in his mind and he stilled.

That girl....

He’d seen her being taken away by the Vongola Guardians, but why? Was she someone important to them? He’d heard rumors about the disgusting heir to the Vongola taking in a new play thing, but it couldn’t possibly be her. They’d described her as some sort of Japanese temptress who was just as despicable as the man she strewn herself over.

That girl on the other hand... she was so weak and frightened. She didn’t appear like the type who’d trick someone for her own selfish reasons. It made him wonder what the Guardians would go out of their way to help her instead of calling one of their men to come take her to another location.

He wanted to know more.

He wanted to know who she was and why she was with people as evil as the Vongola.

It made no sense to him as to why his mind would keep flashing back towards when they’d first met. He could still remember the feel of her pressed so intimately against him, the pounding pulse on her neck while she shivered under his touch. She felt so warm and comforting that he wanted to continue holding her, not really minding when she clung onto him even after the Vongola thugs left.

And also, before, he had only seen her in tears and with her cheeks flushed with anger.

...what would she look like with a smile?

Enma shook his head.

This wasn’t the time to be distracted. There was still the mission to take care of.

However, when Enma’s eyes caught the sight of a tuff of brown hair coming out from between two towering builds, followed by a long pink haired woman that he knew was the Vongola’s infamous Poison Cooking master, he couldn’t help but wonder if maybe... just maybe... there was nothing wrong in indulging in a little curiosity.

Curious Curious Curious~~

Hello one and all,

First off, thank you for all those who took the time to leave me reviews. Even a simple one worded review makes me happy. :D Heck, it doesn't even have to be a word, it can be a face like this (:D). Haha, well, longer ones are very nice to read as well.

I will be updating this week, as promised. However, I was curious about something. Are there any other series/couples that you guys are into? I can't say that I'll write everything that people tell me of, but if I'm familiar with it, I don't mind try tackling them (if I have time, that is).

AND SO!

Please feel free to leave me a review on this post about a series and a couple that you enjoy! If I know about it and have the opportunity, I might write something about them. Ongoing series are fine as well.

:) KHR is fun, but I also want to try writing other stuff as well, just for a bit of variety!

See you guys -hopefully tomorrow- for the next update!

***PS: Sorry, due to personal reasons, I won't accept any requests concerning Naruto. Also, I'm not really into yaoi/slash fanfics, so I won't be able to accept any requests concerning ships regarding that! Just a personal preference for the second part xD Sorry about that~~

Thank you guys for the awesome suggestions!
