Notes

My first post on tumblr! It's the drafted sequel to 'Bargain' for Giotto x Haru that I didn't like how it turned out. I know a few were curious and now I finally have a platform to post my incompleted or 'drafted/discarded' work! :) Hopefully I'll have time to post other incompleted work or any work that I have written, but didn't have any plans on actually posting on my blog.

As for my current WIP, I'm currently working on Ambigram!

Teach Me Love - Chapter 19

Summary: "Show me this so-called greatness of the power of love," Hibari ordered. "Fall in love with me." Haru could only stupidly gawk at him. Just what the heck did she get herself involved in? HaruxMultiple Pairings

My lack of KHR knowledge might make some things untrue or some characters OOC! XD

I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn because if I did, there would be a lot more Haru loving!

Please forgive any mistakes, both character-wise and grammatically wise.  I don't really have time to re-read and edit things.

Chapter Nineteen: Hibari Talk

HappyFace1886

Haru smiled as she entered into her room. It had been so long since she had last chatted with Kyoko-chan that she had forgotten how much fun it was to be with her. Not to mention, Kyoko-chan had a calming effect on people and helped Haru in alleviating some of the stress that had been accumulating.

She hummed happily, dropping her bag on her chair. They had gone shopping and Haru, with her appetite returning, had devoured the cake that had been in front of her. The guilt she would have felt didn’t come since what with the training she had been undertaking, her metabolism had gotten faster. At least when related to food, she wasn’t as miserable.

The window rattled slightly and Haru froze, taking a step back warily. Her shoulders relaxed when she saw the familiar face, but a part of her remained cautious. She walked over to the window and opened it, the night air rushing into the room. Then she took a nervous step backwards, her hands clasped behind her. “K-Kyoya, what brings you here?”

Hahi, okay, though she had admitted to feeling better, she wasn’t ready to see him just yet! Oh fate, why were you so cruel? Couldn’t she just have one night of peace? The whole thing with Yamamoto-san was barely a day ago!

“Patrol,” he replied, gracefully entering into her room. Haru had to resist the urge to cover his eyes when she felt him observing the contents inside. Stupid round-headed jerk... having no sense of privacy and the normal social protocols! But his words distracted her as she stared openly at him.

“Patrol? You’re here because you want to patrol my room?”

“Your clumsy nature requires occasional supervision.” His answer was blunt and to the point, causing Haru’s face to steam up.

“Haru is not clumsy!” she yelled heatedly.

Hibari didn’t even dignify her with a verbal response, arching an eyebrow at her.

“Might I remind you of the balloon incident?” he said smoothly and Haru’s face reddened further. Why oh why did he have to have witnessed such an incident to use against her like this?

“Haru is not clumsy just because she stepped on a branch that was too weak to support her!” she growled. “And she still thinks Hibari should have helped instead of just watching her fall like that! A boyfriend is supposed to help and protect his girlfriend, you know!”

The words had been blurted out, but it made Haru internally scream. What was that supposed to mean? That they were really going out? Oh please, oh please, let him just take that as her trying to teach him about love. She wasn’t even sure what she was feeling for him right now, for crying out loud!

Hibari frowned and took a step forward. Haru instinctively took a step back, especially since she was so flustered and nervous. Her eyes were downcast, trained on Hibari’s unending footsteps that came closer and closer to her. She finally came to a stop when she felt the wall pressed against her back, causing her to squeak in surprise. But Hibari wasn’t done walking.

No, in fact he didn’t stop until he was right in front of her.

Haru’s heart pounded loudly while questions swam through her mind. What was he doing? Did her words trigger something in him? But it wasn’t like she had said anything outrageous, right? Hibari’s hand reached up to cup under her chin and she first resisted the tug of his hand, but relented when she knew he wasn’t going to let go of her.

He guided her face upward until they were looking eye to eye and Haru stiffened at how his eyes were trained solely on her. “K-Kyoya?”

“This constant need for protection is tedious,” he murmured.

“Hahi?”

Hibari leaned closer, intoxicated by the sweet smell she emitted. During his rounds, he had been partially preoccupied with the thoughts of finding Haru again. He wanted to kiss those soft lips that had made him yearn for more, to talk to that feisty and unpredictable girl who obviously feared him, but wasn’t afraid to bite back if she felt he was being outrageous. Such amusement and desire she brought out...

His cool cheek brushed against her hot one. “To have a... girlfriend... is burdensome.”

The hand that had been holding her chin trailed upward until it reached her hair, entangling in the soft locks until it found the clasp holding her hair. He pulled at it and released the brown tresses that cascaded down a little past her shoulders.

Haru’s breath hitched when he began to run his fingers through her hair. What was he doing? “K-Kyoya?”

His lips skimmed over her rapidly beating pulse and trailed down until he was kissing her neck. “I have no weaknesses,” he whispered hotly against her skin.

That Haru was more than aware of. This was Hibari Kyoya they were talking about. He had no possible weak spots before she had entered the scene. He did as he pleased and didn’t care if it meant the harm of others. But then that incident with Hideo had changed things... changed him. She had become a target, a weapon to use against him... even if she didn’t understand why.

Did Kyoya really have feelings for her?

Was there a real, affectionate reason behind his actions?

“Kyoya,” she murmured quietly, closing her eyes. “What am I to you?”

It was time to be direct and blunt. No more being shy and hesitant, hiding behind social protocols and necessities. If she was going to act honestly and understand what it was she was feeling for others, she needed the truth. And with Kyoya, she needed to be straightforward or else they weren’t going to go anywhere.

Her eyes snapped open when she felt lips pressed against her own. His touch was eager and uninhibited, ravishing her mouth as though he owned every piece of it. In fact, she wouldn’t be surprised if that was what he truly believed. Hibari Kyoya didn’t love. He owned and possessed, be it people or object.

Haru became swept away by the kiss, fueled by instinct and lust. Kyoya was wild and untamed, but that didn’t mean she didn’t feel safe and content with him. Maybe it was because they had been together for some time and that he did go out of his way to save her, but she knew she trusted him to a deeper extent... just as she trusted Tsuna-san and the others... and maybe even more.

His tongue ventured deep into her opened mouth, his body pressed against hers. And then as though to tease her, he pulled away, leaving her mouth opened with her eyes glazed and confused. He stroked her cheek with the back of his knuckles, intent on continuing to remain in physical contact with her.

“You are mine,” he whispered against her lips, his dark piercing eyes daring her to defy his words. “Mine to touch, mine to kiss... mine to possess.”

“Is that all there is to this?” Haru murmured softly, ignoring how her lips burned under his touch or how distracting it was when he was touching her cheek like that. Her hands tightly clutched onto the white button-up shirt he always wore. “Just kisses and touches? Am I worth just that to you?”

“...you are amusing as well.”

At that, she pouted moodily. “And entertainment?”

“What more do you want?” he inquired with obviously forced patience. Silly girl, what was going through her addled mind now?

“I-I don’t know,” she groaned, wanting to cover her face with her hands. However, seeing as though her hands were to currently trapped between them, the only thing she could do was bury her face into his neck so that it was at least covered by something. “If... If I was sad... would you come over and try to cheer me up? If I was angry, would listen to be rant about why I was angry?”

“Foolish questions,” he pulled away after leaving a lingering kiss on her head.

“Haru is not being foolish. This is important.” She glowered, staring at the floor as Hibari moved away from her. “Love is a give and take sort of thing. It’s where one cares for the other beyond what people would do for other people.”

Haru raised her head up to see if Hibari was listening to her when she realized that he wasn’t even in the room. She groaned out loud. Of course, stupid jerk. He steals kisses and then runs away from her.

Perfect.

Just perfect.

She tried to be direct and she was still left with questions!

Just what the heck was she to Hibari? And did he himself even know the answer to that question?

“The prefect is leaving her room,” a shadowed figure murmured into the communicator, the other hand clutching onto the binoculars that was trained on the swift figure that leaped off the window.

“Good,” Hideo’s oily voice dripping with glee crackled back from the machine. “Once the prefect is far away, take the girl.”
