Notes

My first post on tumblr! It's the drafted sequel to 'Bargain' for Giotto x Haru that I didn't like how it turned out. I know a few were curious and now I finally have a platform to post my incompleted or 'drafted/discarded' work! :) Hopefully I'll have time to post other incompleted work or any work that I have written, but didn't have any plans on actually posting on my blog.

As for my current WIP, I'm currently working on Ambigram!

Genesis - Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Chapter 23

Summary: There was a reason why Reborn got Haru involved with the Mafia. Even if she was useless to them in fights and even if she couldn't provide as much emotional strength as Kyoko, she was vital and without her, there would just be no Vongola. G86/GiottoHaru

My lack of KHR knowledge might make some things untrue or some characters OOC!

I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Please forgive any mistakes, both character-wise and grammatically-wise. I don't have time to re-read or edit things.

Genesis: Chapter 23

HappyFace1886

Haru stumbled past the trees, her face flustered and her mind a complete blur. She had absolutely no idea what to think about what had just transpired. Had Giotto-sama really k-kissed her? B-But why? What did he mean by that anyways? Was it some foreign custom she wasn’t aware of? Sure, she had heard about Europeans kissing each other as a form of greeting... but on the lips?! And not to mention, why now of all times?!

The confusion lingering in her mind dispelled a little when she caught sight of a hunched over figure sitting on the ground. Adelina had her arms wrapped around her legs, her face buried into her knees while she rocked herself comfortingly. Haru’s eyes softened and for the moment, she forgot about what just happened, distracted by the sight of the distraught girl.

Adelina,” she whispered as she approached her. The blonde stiffened and the rocking paused when Haru sat beside her. “Please Adelina, talk to me.

I’m fine,” came the somber response. “You should head on back before you forget the way. We don’t want you getting lost...

Adelina.

I can’t... I don’t want to talk about it.

I’ll learn about the truth sooner or later.” Haru said in a firm, but gentle voice. “Wouldn’t it be best if I learned from someone who won’t make it sound worse than it actually is?

Adelina raised her head, showing Haru the tear stained cheeks. There was a harsh glimmer in Adelina’s emerald eyes that matched the angry scowl on her face. “What makes you think I won’t?

Because Adelina’s reaction had been abnormal. She probably had first-hand experience on whatever incident involved Giotto. Then there was how Giotto-sama had known where Adelina would be. Those two had history and their indirect interactions told Haru that they had cared for each other at one point.

I know you won’t.” she replied simply.

Adelina huffed out air and looked away from Haru, her grip around her knees tightening. Haru waited patiently, knowing the story would come out sooner or later. Adelina may act mature, but she was still quite young. If Haru’s experience with kids were any indication, the silent pressure in the air and her own inner turmoil of emotions would compel her to start talking.

And as predicted, the words came out softly.

The demon is an orphan.” The words were hushed, a tinge of fear in them that came not from talking of the ‘demon’, but in fear that someone would overhear her words. “He was the only survivor of an attack made by bandits on a traveling couple. I didn’t hear much of the details because I was just a baby then. He... was eight years old when he was brought to my village.

Haru’s eyes widened.

Just eight years old when he had lost his parents? And by bandits? That would mean that Giotto-sama had seen his parents being killed right in front of him!

Adelina continued, inhaling shakily. “Even back then, everyone knew he was special. There was an air about him that drew people to him... not to mention, he was really smart. He picked up on everything fast and efficiently. He was also very nice... having a gentle air that made one content around him. Because of that, a lot of the village women left their children with him because he had a way of keeping us occupied without causing trouble.

And that’s how you two met?” Haru inquired.

There was a pause of silence before Adelina wrung her fingers together. “I was very young when I first met the demon... but I still remember it clearly.

Adelina turned her head back towards Haru, a tired gleam in her eyes that shouldn’t belong to someone so young.

He was very... beautiful. There was a light about him that was captivating. I became enchanted with him immediately and as my mother told me, I followed him like a lost chick. He was always patient with me, of course. And it was him... who discovered this place.” Adelina looked around the field once. It was covered in snow, but during the spring, there were flowers of all type for one to play in. It was hidden enough so that not many people knew about it and its secrecy was one of the things Adelina cherished.

So many fond memories...

Yet it was mixed with so many dark ones as well...

But in the end, it had all been a lie. He was a demon possessed child who was here to distract us from the light.” Adelina murmured bitterly.

That’s not true,” Haru said in frustration, feeling slightly relieved at finally being able to say what she had wanted for so long. “Giotto-sama is not a demon! Why does everyone say that?

That’s because you don’t know the truth!” Adelina shouted!

I know the truth!” Haru shouted back with equal ferocity. “I know of the truth more than all of you combined! Giotto-sama is not like that! He’s... He’s...”

He was sweet and kind, just as Adelina had described. He was thoughtful and caring, always making sure Haru was alright whenever they trudged around the forest. Even though he had lost so much and had been mistreated by others, he had never lost his innocence and compassion!

And in the future, he would become great. He would grow to be the Primo of the Vongola, an organization that protected the weak against the corrupted. How could someone with such potential waste away in this remote village where the people hated him and called him cruel names?

It just didn’t make sense!

There was a change in Adelina’s face, first shock before a warm smile.

That’s why I know I can trust you Haru,” she said softly. “You don’t see him as a demon... even when he himself sees himself as one.

What?” Haru breathed in shock.

Giotto,” the name felt unfamiliar and hard on Adelina’s tongue. It had been years since she had even thought of the name, “is no demon.

But you-.

I call him that because that is how he sees himself as well.” Adelina said in disgust. “And if that’s how he wants it, so be it. I’ll call him that as well.

Adelina,” Haru said cautiously. “What exactly happened?

Right here,” Adelina said, her voice breaking a little as she felt her heart speeding up at the memory. The pain from that time came rushing back, her mind threatening to black out. Her hand automatically latched onto the shoulder where the scar was. “Right on this field, a... wolf appeared. It was wounded, probably a fight with one of its pack mate or a bear... but its wound made it so that its instincts were at edge. I was on this field with Giotto that day.

Haru felt a sickening feeling in her stomach as her mind went above and beyond to provide all sorts of dangerous situations that might have happened.

We ran, of course. We were children, what else could we do?” Adelina snorted before her eyes darkening, her hand tightening on her shoulder as she tried to control the shiver that went down her spine. “That was a mistake. The wolf chased us. Fortunately, we knew the terrain well, so we were almost upon the village... when I tripped.

Adelina,” Haru said in a hushed voice, her eyes turning to where Adelina had a death grip on herself.

The villagers heard my screams and the men came rushing.” She continued, her voice growing more and more nonchalant with every word she said. “The wolf had me by the shoulders and... was shaking me around. I remember screaming loudly. There had been so much blood and the pain... the pain had been unbelievable. Since I was so tiny, the wolf had the power to shake me into pieces. But that didn’t happen.

Because Giotto-sama was there,” Haru murmured and Adelina’s shoulders stopped shaking, her wide eyes looking at Haru in surprise.

Such faith she had in him.

It was the one thing no one else in this world had or would even bother to provide for him. Trust was something hard to come by for an orphan after all. No one would heedlessly defend him for Giotto would always be an outsider to them, friend or not.

He was not of blood to any of them after all. No one would vouch for him when he wasn’t their kin.

But here was this strange foreign girl, faithfully standing by him even when everyone painted him to be the devil.

Adelina couldn’t hide her tender smile. If it’s Haru, then it would be fine. “That’s right, Giotto saved me. While the adults watched stupidly, figuring it was too late to save me, Giotto had actually taken action. He somehow managed to pry the wolf away from me... and... while he held me in his arms... fire seemed to erupt from his head. There was a powerful glow in his eyes as he glared at the wolf... and simply told it to go away.

Haru blinked in confusion.

Adelina chuckled “That’s right. He just told the wolf to go away... and it tucked its tail between its legs and ran for the hills.

So he saved you,” Haru restated. “Then why is he called a demon?

Because of how he saved me.” The bitterness in Adelina’s voice returned. “Fire had appeared on his head and it hadn’t burned him... an animal had obeyed his commands with just a glare. People began to claim that Giotto was possessed by the devil. And of course, being the stupid fools they are, they accepted it because it was the simplest explanation.

You don’t believe it?

Of course not!” Adelina shouted in outrage. “He saved my life! He has done nothing to threaten us and yet, because of this one incident, instead of feeling grateful, they let fear of the unknown take over! If anything, he’s an angel sent from the heavens to protect us from evil!

Oh if only Adelina knew, but Haru wasn’t going to say anything. “Is that why Giotto-sama lives so far away from everyone?

Adelina snorted in disgust. “No, he began to stay here after Father Attilio came to our village two years ago. Before, he lived in the forest near the village after the village threw him out.

And,” Haru began hesitantly. “And he didn’t leave the village?

Maybe he had nowhere else to go,” Adelina said. Giotto had arrived at her village at a young age, after all. And since the village had been tiny, everyone had taken care of him. Perhaps it was those past memories that made him linger? Perhaps he felt indebted to the village even after the villagers had treated him so horribly... throwing stuff at him, calling him names, ruthlessly hurting him both physically and emotionally. It wasn’t until Father Attilio had arrived and offered to exorcise the demon that the abuse had stopped, also because Giotto didn’t venture close to the village. “But now things have changed.

What do you mean?” Haru asked.

Giotto sees himself as a monster as well,” Adelina explained carefully. “No matter what I said or tried to do, that is how he saw himself.

You stood by him even after all this happened?” Haru asked in awe.

Adelina stiffened and looked away. She didn’t deserve any praise. Instead, she needed to be rebuked for being weak. “No... I was a child, I was stupid. After I recovered from my wounds, I went searching for Giotto, but he would never let me close. He would watch from afar. I would argue with him, saying he saved me, but he wouldn’t listen.

Of course not, Haru thought bitterly. The words of the villagers had probably gotten to him by the time Adelina had recovered... and Adelina had no need to feel so regretful. She was still a child even now to Haru and if that was the case, Adelina shouldn’t have been forced to shoulder such a heavy burden at an even younger age!

No matter what I said, he would just look at me as though... as though I didn’t understand!” Adelina said in frustration, tears welling up in her eyes at the memories of walking in the forest alone at night, wanting to go near him and yet always pushed away. “I got angry and then... and then one day I just lost control. I called him a demon, spat out that he was a monster for letting this happen, for not fighting against them. I-I didn’t mean the injury from the wolf, but for letting this whole demon thing spiral out of control. I knew he wasn’t a demon! He had to know that as well! And yet he didn’t do anything about it! Never fought back! Just let all this to happen! But I shouldn’t have done that! I should h-have been more patient, talked to him... or talk to the villagers! Said they were crazy! I should have abandoned my family and stayed by him, but no... no, the pressure got to me as well and I-I snapped!

Haru placed an arm around Adelina, pulling her close while leaning her cheek against her head. She stroked Adelina’s arm comfortingly. “It’s okay... it’s not your fault.

How can you say that?” Adelina demanded, pulling away from Haru with uncontrolled tears streaming down her face. “I abandoned Giotto when he needed me most! I-I let him down even after he had saved my life! I-!

You were a child,” Haru said sternly. “And children should have no need to worry about something like this.

B-But-.

And I’m sure Giotto-sama understands as well.” Haru said, giving Adelina an encouraging smile. “It’s like you said. He’s an angel... and angels are forgiving creatures, right?

Adelina stared at Haru in awe before she broke down in crying, lunging for Haru. She wrapped her arms around her, crying into Haru without inhibition while Haru held her protectively. It was something she had wanted to hear for so long, that Giotto wasn’t a demon... that he was even more than just a simple human... he was someone special, someone kind and sweet who wasn’t the monster everyone else claimed to be.

As Haru held Adelina, she heard a soft murmur that she couldn’t quite hear properly.

Adelina?

Save him Haru...

H-Hahi?

Adelina pulled away from Haru, looking up at her with desperate eyes. “Save Giotto Haru. Take him away from this place.

Hahi, Adelina, what are you saying?

He’ll never leave on his own regard, b-but if he’s with you, I’m sure he’ll follow you anywhere!” Adelina proclaimed.

Wait a second Adelina, I-!” Things were moving too fast! And did Adelina even understand the gravity of what she was saying?

You have to leave!” Adelina said pleadingly. “And you have to leave now! That’s why I came here tonight! To get you to escape with Giotto!

W-What do you mean?” Haru asked carefully, her eyebrows knitting together in confusion.

Adelina chewed her lower lip. She was basically denouncing her village by saying this, but this was too important to just keep to herself. She wasn’t going to run away again. Not this time. “I don’t know what the elders are planning, but from what I’ve heard, they’re going to try and use you to get rid of Giotto.

What?” Haru said in surprise. “But how?

I don’t know and I don’t want to find out!” Adelina said, wilding shaking her head in protest at the mere possibility. “We can’t let them hurt Giotto any further! You have to get him out of here before things get worse! If-If it was anyone else, I wouldn’t have said this much, but I know I can trust you with him Haru. If he’s with you, I’m sure he can get the happiness he would have never gotten here. Please... at least think about it.

Haru remained frozen, unsure of how she should approach this situation. Something like this was well beyond her scope of expertise! Goodness she was only fourteen! Then again... Tsuna-san and the others had faced life-threatening situations at the same age.

But how was she supposed to know what the right path was? What if she did something impulsive and the future never happens? What if she prevented Giotto from becoming the Primo?

Still, a nagging thought lingered. Was it worth letting him suffer more if it meant he was to become the Primo of Vongola?

Oh gods, don’t say that she might be at the focal point where her decision might make it so that Tsuna-san was never born?

The stress was too much to handle!

And yet, something made Haru pause. She remembered the smile on Giotto’s face whenever he looked at her, the pure uninhibited joy... the way he’d hold her hand and hug her tenderly, almost as though he was worried that she’d vanish without a trace if he wasn’t careful.

Unconsciously, Haru’s hand rose up and her fingers lightly touched her lips.

...could she allow Giotto-sama to continue to be hurt because of such selfish reasons?

Haru placed a hand on Adelina’s shoulder, a soft almost sad smile on her face. “Yeah... you’re right Adelina... let’s get Giotto-sama out of here.

Opened Eyes - Cage of Eden - YaraixKurusu

Summary: My take on the ending of Cage of Eden... or at least, the ending for my favorite pairing! :) There are some scenes in this fanfic that goes along with how it really ended. WARNING: MATURE CONTENT!!

I don’t own Cage of Eden and while I would have liked to have more development between Yarai and Kurusu, I'm glad that they can technically be considered a canon pairing! 8D

Please forgive any mistakes, both character-wise and grammatically-wise. I don't have time to re-read or edit things

Ninja Edit: Yarai is older here because when the event takes place, it's been a while. If I have implied otherwise, it's a mistake. Just letting that out there. :p

Opened Eyes

HappyFace1886

Three years had passed since they first arrived to this mysterious island. Deaths still occurred and tragedies, unfortunately, plagued them occasionally. Still, Kurusu had to admit that despite it all, they were living a relatively peaceful life in this island.

But things changed, whether one liked it or not. And these kids that she so fondly watched over would not always remain kids.

Sengoku-kun had grown so much and was a fabulous leader with Rion by his side. All the other kids played their part just as well, supporting each other and Sengoku to survive in this dangerous jungle.

And then there was Yarai-kun...

Kurusu squeaked at how an arm wrapped around her tiny waist tightly, pulling her closer to a well defined chest. Heat filled her back while a low tenured voice spoke next to her ear. “What are you thinking about?”

“Ya-Yarai-kun!” she squeaked and dared a glance behind only for her face to turn completely red when she realized that he was bare-chested. “Where did your shirt go?”

There was no reply from him as he nuzzled into her hair, breathing in deep to rejuvenate his senses with her presence. He had only been gone a short while, but it reassured his edgy instincts when he checked up on her occasionally. After all, she had a tendency to get in trouble often with how clumsy she was.

She sighed in relief when he pulled away a little, but still fidgeted due to how close he was. Over the years, Kurusu had become accustomed to how Yarai-kun would keep her close to him. At first, she had told herself it was because he was just being protective of her, especially after the whole internal bleeding incident. However, by the time she had realized the truth, it was too late. It was now second-nature for them to always be by each other’s side.

Yarai-kun was changing. He was growing from a troubled teen to a strong, mature man. And he himself was very aware of this.

A large hand gently grasped her chin and Kurusu gasped in surprise, her face tilted upward until she was face to face with his handsome features. Yarai-kun had always been taller than her, especially with his mixed blood giving him the edge, but now he literally towered over her. It always made her feel so tiny when she was with him, but at the same time, she felt so safe and carefree.

He leaned close and pressed his lips against her, taking advantage of her open mouth to slip his tongue in. Kurusu whimpered, clutching onto Yarai’s arm as he devoured her mouth from above. When he had first kissed her, she had been taken so aback. After all, he was her student! Even if he initiated the kiss, it felt as though she was taking advantage of him!

...but what a kiss it had been.

Kurusu’s back was pressed up against the tree, her eyes widened in surprise at how Yarai had bent his head down low to claim her lips. Too stunned was she that she didn’t move, even when Yarai reached out to cup the side of her face, stroking the upper cheek with his thumb. It wasn’t until his tongue traced the seam of her lips did Kurusu react, pressing her hands against Yarai’s chest to push him away.

“Y-Yarai-kun!” she said, trying to sound firm when she actually sounded more shy and embarrassed by what transpired. “What are you doing?”

“Kissing you.”

“Eh?” his bluntness took her off guard, but she tried to brush it away. “I-If this is a prank, Yarai-kun, it’s not funny. I-.”

“It’s not a joke.” He said seriously, his sharp piercing eyes staring right through her. Kurusu leaned back against the tree, almost wanting it to swallow her whole with the way Yarai-kun was staring at her. She had seen his looks of fondness and care, but this look... this look was new.

It was as though he wanted to consume her whole, to embrace her tightly and never let her out of his grasp.

“Then... I... what?” she stammered, completely confused.

His hand still resting against the tree next to her head, he leaned close, memorizing every feature of her face before resting his forehead against her shoulder. “I can’t lose you.”

“Yarai-kun,” Kurusu whispered, her eyes softening. Was he acting this way because he was afraid she was going to get killed? She reached out and patted him on the head. “I’m sorry for worrying you, but it’ll be alright. Not only do we have a doctor at hand and more friends to fight with us, there’s always you. I’m sure you won’t let anything bad happened to me.”

“That’s not what I mean.” Yarai pulled back and looked at her right at her, the seriousness shining in his eyes. This wasn’t just something he was doing on a whim. He had thought about it all long and hard, to make sure he wasn’t just about to ruin something so fragile and so precious. But it had taken an idiot girl for him to realize the truth, that he wanted something other than what he had so far. “I want more than what we have right now.”

She stared at him. “Eh? B-But-.”

“I’m not going to lie to myself, not anymore.” He murmured before leaning closer, his eyes mesmerizing her with their sincerity. “I love you, sensei.”

The confession had left her speechless and when he had kissed her again, it was as though all her defenses had come down. It wasn’t as though she was swooning over his confession or anything. He had truly shocked her with that... but the way he had kissed her, so hungrily with a passion that felt as though he was holding back for so long.

It left her completely powerless.

“Yarai-kun,” she mewled out, her face flushed as he released her lips, his mouth trailing from the corner of her lips to her neck. They were sitting on the soft green grass, her long luscious legs straddling his legs while he indulged himself with her neck.

Days had passed since the first kiss and it had left Kurusu completely confused. Yarai-kun said he loved her, kissed the life out of her... and was pretending as though nothing happened?

How was she supposed to take that? Was he trying to give her space? If he was, it was doing nothing, but leaving her confused. And after more days of agonizing, when she confronted him about it, his answer was simply that he was waiting for her to fall in love with him. That moment had been him wanting to convey his feelings and for her to actually sample just how much he yearned for her.

Now he would wait for her to reach back for him. The last thing he wanted to do was force her into an awkward position, to scare her away with his feelings...

It had made her smile, how caring this child was. Despite his frightening demeanor amongst the rest of the student population back when they had still been in school, she had always known that Yarai-kun was a nice boy.

...a boy who was no longer one, but a man.

She should have realized with how strong and protective he had been when they had first arrived in the island. He was a man strong enough to deal with the deadliest animals. And yet, she had constantly fooled herself into believing he was still her student, a child she would guide in this harsh world.

This was wrong.

She shouldn’t be doing this.

He was just a child, and her student as well! A teacher and a student? It was scandalous! She was probably taking advantage of him too! He was still growing and what with his sad history, she might be emotionally manipulating him or something!

But was that still the case when society was destroyed? When the small group of people in this island was possibly the only people left in this world?

She had only wanted to try a kiss, a small chaste one... to see if she really felt something for him, that maybe she might also be in love with him. Now she was regretting it, fearing that she was simply toying with his emotions.

Still, then why wasn’t she protesting as he pinned her to the ground, kissing her with a passion she herself had never felt in her entire life? Why were her arms wrapped around his neck, the soft moans escaping her lips when he licked her on the pulse just at the right spot?

“Ah!” she cried out, arching her back while her fingers knotted over his school jacket. Her breathing was labored when he pulled back, her eyes glazed while she trembled at the sensations that shot throughout her body. “Yarai-kun?”

“Can I continue?” he inquired softly, his finger trailing down from her flushed cheeks. The desire burned in his eyes, but he patiently waited. He refused to do anything if it was something she didn’t want.

Kurusu bit her lips, the already pouty kissed lips that had become puffy under his ministration. Would it be bad to continue? Would it truly be bad to give in? She cared for Yarai, a lot more than she realized. His hand cupped her cheek and she leaned into it, feeling the hard calluses in his palms from the all the time he had to fight against those dangerous animals or climb the hardened terrains.

She always felt such joy whenever she saw even a hint of a smile on his face... and then there was how she believed Yarai-kun would be the one to save them all when they had first arrived in the mountain. She had believed it was just teacher favoritism, but it was because she truly believed in him... that she knew she could trust everything to him for he would never let her down.

With that realization, she could wonder in surprise... just how long had she been in love with Yarai-kun?

Yarai-kun had stopped being her student long before they had arrived in this island.

Her eyes were clenched shut as she felt his nimble fingers undoing the buttons to her blouse, her whole body shaking as she felt the soft material parting and revealing her covered breasts. “Are you scared?”

“N-No,” she stammered, turning her head away because she couldn’t deal with how his intense eyes were trailing down her body. Kurusu then paused, remembering the scar in her abdomen. Her first instinct was to cover it, knowing how it grotesque it must look on her skin, but then she also remembered his remark... of how he wasn’t bothered by a scar at all.

He must have seen the clarity in her eyes as he asked. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing!” she said quickly, wondering what in the world was she thinking? Not so long ago, she would have never even dreamed that she would be in a state where her now ex-student was slowly undoing her top and she was fussing about a silly scar on her stomach!

Yarai’s eyes swept over her bare skin. The moon provided some dim lighting, but his sharp eyes were able to see each and every feature, the way she looked so tantalizing with her hands laying on the side of her face while he loomed above her. His lips roved over her jaw-line and there was a sharp gasp of surprise.

“Yarai-kun!” she squealed, especially as he trailed lower.

“My name, sensei,” he murmured against her collarbone, “is Kouichi.”

“Huh?” Kurusu said confused before she felt the clasp of her bra snapping off, the feel of her breast shaking as they were freed from their confines. “Eep!”

Without thinking, she reached out and held onto Yarai, keeping his face against her collarbone so that he wouldn’t be able to see any lower. His rough white shirt rubbed harshly against her bare breast, but she refused to move, stubbornly keeping him there. “Sensei?”

“D-Don’t look at me.” Kurusu said in a voice that was almost pitiful. In all her years, even her late teenage or adult years, had she been in this situation. Her first and utmost focus was becoming a teacher and caring for her students. She had no experience at all in this situation. Not to mention, the last time anyone tried to touch her like this had been those kids when the people in the plane had fallen into a mass panic.

Yarai-kun had saved her then as well.

“Is it that embarrassing?” he inquired, her body slightly shivering when his breath brushed against her skin. “For me to see your naked body?”

“Yarai-kun-!”

“Kouichi.” He repeated before easily pulling away from her hold. He sat up and threw his jacket away abruptly and there was a look of mortification on Kurusu as she watched, practically hypnotized, at the way he was just peeling his clothes off of himself. Yarai grabbed the ends of his shirt, pulling it upward and revealing the toned muscles of his body that had been carved out with years of fighting.

“Y-Yarai-kun, wait-kyah!” Kurusu covered her eyes when she saw him reach for his belt and then heard him whip it off of his pants. Oh gods, oh gods, oh gods, what was she supposed to do? He wasn’t listening to her! “K-K-Kouichi?”

Silence reached her ears and she peered between her fingers, almost sighing in relief that he had only managed to undo the button and zipper of his pants. At least he still had his pants on.

“Sensei,” he spoke quietly, his blonde hair gently framing parts of his face as a soft breeze blew by. “I want all of you. I want to see and touch every part of you.” He leaned closer, his hand brushing away the locks that normally covered parts of her face. “I want to claim everything of you.”

Yarai-kun had never been one to beat around the bush. Once he realized something and found a goal, he would do everything to reach it.

To him, there was no point in being embarrassed. He had no reason to be shy about what he felt.

And that was another trait that Kurusu found so admirable about him.

Her fingers clutched onto his hair, soft cries escaping her lips as he toyed with her breasts. How was he able to touch her like this? It confused her how he was able to so easily make her whine out for more, to cling to his touches as every stroke and caress left her hot and bothered. And, much to her surprise, it bothered her at the possibility that he might’ve actually had someone he touched like this in the past.

She swallowed her insecurities, not wanting something so trivial to break this mood.

Yarai was always tending to her needs. She wanted to stop being selfish for once and just... let go of everything. A soft smile graced her lips when she felt him kiss her scar. Even if it marred her skin, it kind of represented his feelings for her, how desperate he had been to save her. She would cherish those feelings... she would cherish Yarai-kun...

Her breath hitched when she felt him unsnap the buttons of her skirt, but there was no protest as the skirt was pulled down her legs. Instead, Kurusu buried her face into his neck, panting hotly at how agonizingly slow he was when removing her underwear. “Kouichi.”

The way she whispered so hotly burned his ear and then there was how she was tentatively kissing his neck, her soft lips trailing upward until she nibbled lightly on his earlobe. The sensation made him shudder, especially when she splayed kisses down his jaw. Her touch was light and teasing, making it impossible for him to retain his straining self-control

“Kouichi,” she whispered yearningly against his lips before shyly kissing him. This was her first time reciprocating like this and it made him rush forward, crushing his lips to hers in almost a desperate manner. She parted her mouth willingly, letting his tongue explore every part of her.

Kurusu stiffened when she felt the back of his fingers brushing against her dampened core. She shivered at the cold air combined with the moistness of her center and her fingers clutched onto Yarai’s broad shoulders, a gentle cry gasped out of her as she felt him sink one of his long fingers deep inside of her.

It felt weird, having a foreign object inside of her, but her inner walls clutched onto his fingers hungrily. Yarai stilled, as though he was waiting for her to become accustomed to his finger, before he pulled back. Kurusu cried out when he abruptly shoved his finger back in, causing her to arch her back beautifully, her full breasts pressed against his bare chest.

“Ah!” her mind was growing blank, his fingers teasing her insides. “K-Kouichi.”

The way she said his name captivated him, urging him to plunge his finger back deeper and harder. It caused her to scream loudly, her wetness coating his hand liberally. She laid panting on the ground, her body hot and out of control, when she caught sight of him lifting his drenched hand, his tongue teasingly lapping up each and every drop on his fingers.

There was no time for her to become even mortified, her attention immediately returning to the restless ache between her legs. There was something long and hard pressed against her and she clenched her eyes shut, looking away. “Sensei.”

“K-Kouichi?” she spoke hesitantly, opening her eyes slightly to see him watching her.

“Don’t look away.”

“I-I-.”

“I want you to see,” he whispered. “I want you to look at me as I take you. I want you to see,” he leaned close and kissed her cheek, “as I make you mine.”

Kurusu felt him enter in slightly and bit her lips, her fingers digging into Yarai’s arm. “I-In one condition.”

“Yeah?” gods, the feel of her lower lips wrapped around his length was too much. He wanted to enter her all the way, to finally claim her as his. Everyone already knew sensei was his. He would share her with the others, to let them feel reassured and comforted by her gentle presence, but in the end, especially during the nights, she was his, all his.

“Call me Kurusu,” she whispered coyly.

That was the final straw.

The way she had spoken so timidly, as though unsure of how he’d react with her suggestion. It was all making him lose his self-control.

“Kouichi,” she cried out as he entered her in one swift plunge, his length piercing through her until he was in by the hilt. The pain made her scream and she thug her nails into his back, desperately trying to hold on as the pain passed.

He panted into her neck, trying to be still even for just a second, before he began to slowly pull out. Kurusu clung to him, feeling her inner walls protesting as he pulled away from her. She then screamed loudly, crying his name when he re-entered her just as swiftly. His thrusts were deep and filled her completely to the brim, her body feeling so heated and out of control.

The pain was fading, replaced by an unimaginable pleasure that left her mind reeling. Yarai’s thrusts into her were wild; his movements untamed and uncontrolled as he clutched onto her hips. She was so tight, her inner walls clamping around his cock tightly with each thrust he made.

Yarai’s thrusts were so hard, but they felt so good. Kurusu’s legs wrapped around his waist, her hips moving eagerly to match his rhythm. She moaned without inhibition, the loud squelching of their conjoined sexes filling the air. Her skin had become sensitized, allowing her to feel every caress of his lips, the hardness of his body rubbing against hers, and the thickness of his length.

She squealed when Yarai suddenly grabbed her legs, lifting them up high until they were resting on his shoulders. The change in position tightened her walls and he groaned, his member spearing in deeper inside of her. Kurusu also whimpered, able to feel him inside of her even more in this position. He was so thick, rubbing against her sensitive walls while plunging in and out without any reservation.

Yarai kissed her lips sloppily, their eyes glazed with pleasure as he pounded away inside of her. She was finally his, all his. Those silent declarations, the promises for more, no longer would he have to wait.

“Kouichi!” she screamed as she finally came, a blinding white light taking over her vision while her nails raked down his skin, leaving defined red marks that proved of their coupling. She cried out, her body still shaking as Yarai continued with his last, harsh thrusts, her sensitized walls making her cum again in synch with Yarai’s own completion.

“Kurusu,” he growled, his entire body stilling as he emptied himself deep inside of her.

Kurusu panted out, lightly whimpering at the burning heat of his seeds filling her womb. He was filling her to the brim, his essence flowing out between their conjoined sexes and dripping onto the grass. The two breathed hard, unwilling to move from their position, Kurusu’s legs wrapped around his waist while Yarai’s arms rested beside her head, his forehead pressed against hers.

“You are mine,” he whispered possessively. “Now and forever.”

“Eep!” Kurusu squeaked when she felt Yarai sneak a hand up her blouse. “Kouichi!”

“What?” he asked with a face that clearly stated he didn’t think he was doing anything wrong.

“It... It’s day right now,” she finished lamely, not really sure of what to say.

“So?” he kissed her lightly in the lips while his sly hand continued its journey, reaching up until it grasped her breast. She gasped at how he snuck his hand underneath her bra, letting their bare skin touch. He rolled the soft mound under his palm, smirking at how she seemed to melt under his touch, her hands grasping his shoulder in order to prevent herself from falling forward.

“W-What if someone sees?” she protested, her words coming out in a soft moan that only seemed to encourage him.

“Then I’ll beat their face in,” he said seriously, his eyes darkening at the possibility of another seeing her like this.

“Kouichi!” she said scolding and he sighed, relenting.

“If there was someone nearby, I’d hear them.” He murmured reassuringly, kissing her again. He could never get enough of getting small kisses from her. They were as addicting as the taste of her body.

Suddenly, he pulled away from her, his fingers quickly rearranging her clothes so that she looked more presentable. Kurusu looked at him confused, wondering what had come over him, when she heard the sound of a twig breaking and the presence of an ominous air. She whirled around and yelped. “Segawa-san!”

The girl scowled, but still nodded to greet her former teacher. “What are you two doing here?”

Kurusu’s eyes widened before she blushed. “Uh, we, um-.”

Yarai, unlike Kurusu, was still half naked and so his bare arm wrapped itself around Kurusu, pulling her back against him. He glowered at Segawa. “It’s none of your business.”

“Kouichi!” Kurusu said frantically, her face completely red at how he was pressing her so close to him when he was still half naked.

The ominous air around Segawa grew and so did Kurusu’s panic. Yarai simply looked annoyed.

“At least put on a shirt!” Kurusu protested, squirming against his hold.

Kurusu released a sharp gasp when she felt Yarai pull out from inside of her, the flush of her skin deepening as she could practically feel Yarai’s cum dripping out of her. She quickly pulled her legs together, sitting up only to wince at the soreness. A strong hand supported her back and she was soon leaning against Yarai’s chest.

Without a word, he wrapped his school jacket around her, covering her front from becoming cold from the night breeze while he warmed her back by having her seated on his lap. Despite all that just transpired, Kurusu fidgeted nervously with Yarai’s jacket when she felt his member pressed against her bare bottom.

“Do you regret it?” his chest rumbled as he spoke, his arms remaining securely around her while his chin rested on top of her head.

“No,” she answered honestly before her shoulders sagged. Her body felt a little sore and she knew she was probably covered in welts, ones created from Yarai’s hands, mouth, and teeth. “B-But... we shouldn’t have been too hasty. What if I get pregnant because of this?”

“Then we’ll have a child together.” He replied simply, as though he had considered the consequences already.

“Yarai-kun!”

“Kouichi,” he retorted easily before leaning down, pressing his cheek against hers. “You had no problem screaming it just seconds ago.”

Kurusu blushed. Boy did he love teasing her. “That-I-don’t change the subject!”

“Do you really think I mind if we get children from this?”

“B-But it’s so dangerous here!” Kurusu protested.

“I’ll protect you and our children.” He replied confidently and for a minute, Kurusu faltered. Did he just say children? As in more than one? “You and I both know that there’s something wrong with the world we’re in right now. Who’s to say that the world we came from even exists right now?”

“Kouichi,” she murmured forlornly.

“I want to move with no regrets, I don’t want to wonder what could have happened when I have the power to make it happen right now.” His grip around her waist tightened and he nuzzled against her damp hair. “I will never regret making you mine.”

Kurusu was silent, her mind absorbing his words, before she softly chuckled. He truly was a man now, one who thought for himself and stood by his words. “And I won’t regret making you mine as well.”

“Kouichi,” Kurusu said, squirming under his hold. “I can walk by myself!”

“Not in your condition,” Yarai replied stubbornly, his hair held back in a ponytail. His vision was better when his long hair didn’t get in the way.

“I’m fine!” she persisted, but he ignored her protests and continued carrying her to the ship. Kurusu eventually relented, resting her face against his shoulder, shoulders that had grown even broader with the passing years.

Funny how her eyes had only opened not so long ago that Yarai-kun was now all grown up, the student she had considered troubled and lonely. He was now a strong leader along Sengoku-kun in this dangerous world, wherever they were.

She smiled at him. “I love you Kouichi.”

He glanced down at her, a small smile lingering in his lips as he bent down to kiss her.

No words, no other form of expression... that time when he had told her he loved her was one of the rare moments when he did.

But that was fine with Kurusu.

She loved him and he with her.

And that was all that mattered.

AU: Whew, this turned a lot longer than I expected. I actually don't have time to write something like this, but I couldn't help it. The series just ended so abruptly -I'm assuming it was canceled- and I was just itching to have something with these two together! Especially since I see that a lot of people don't like them together... which makes me sad. OTL

And so, I'm here to plead my case! I'm not here to argue, just want to state my opinion. If anyone comments something debatable, I'm probably not going to reply to it because I don't have time to debate... though I will thank you for reviewing. ;) If you're a fan as well, I might just gush with you about loving them. xD

Okay now, let's start with how people claim that Kurusu is just a motherly figure in the series. I got headaches just trying to figure out if that was really the case... and while it did seem like it at some points, I realize that it wasn't and glad that it really wasn't, as seen as the implications made by the mangaka. You don't hover around like that if you just see them as a motherly figure. Sure, Yarai has reason to worry, what with his sad past and all, but the way he acts is much too intimate for it to be a mother-son relationship between the two. You don't smile like that if you see her as your mom, for goodness sake! For me, when I see kids in manga smile at their parents, it's a very innocent and carefree smile. Yarai's tend to be filled with fondness, as though seeing her happy makes him happy. Then there's how he really seems to like teasing her, like when he told Kurusu that she's too off-guard, but then also adds later that she's fine like that.

Also, I hate the argument about how someone should just die because they're useless. Excuse me? Are you kidding me? Even if I hate a character, I won't reject them simply because they're useless, which they rarely are. Not to mention, Kurusu-sensei isn't useless and I feel like her being not as strong as the others was done on purpose. This manga is for the kids to grow, not the teachers. The teachers have their spotlight sometimes, but in this case, the kids have to take care of themselves and grow as people. Thus, this is the unique case where the teachers/adults sit back. Kurusu ends up being their motivator instead, providing them with confidence and positivity. And for those who have forgotten, she does try her best to help, like that time Yarai was outnumbered by those three beasts. She's the first one to react by getting the attention of one of those long armed beasts thingies to follow her so that he could deal with one of them.

As for Segawa Saki, I don't hate her, but I don't see her as someone who can be with Yarai. Sure, there's a possibility, but then there's always a possibility. You can tell with how I write crack pairings for KHR sometimes! xD Anyways, the reason why I don't like Segawa with Yarai is because I don't think she's mature enough... like, she wants something from Yarai that he can't give. Even in the time skip, she still can't let him go. I admire persistence... but mostly if there's a chance of the other half reciprocating. If the other person likes someone else, then it's kind of sad for both parties. Though I like how Yarai looked are her really annoyed while Segawa is glowering at both of them... not to mention how Kurusu looks like she's trying to get away from a half-naked Yarai. xD
Anyways, that's all I have to say. I'm not really pleased with this oneshot because it's not developed enough and Yarai isn't really that in character, but if I wrote it the way I wanted, it might get insanely long and I have no time for that. I hope it's believable enough, even if Yarai sounds a little stiff. I made him outright confess his feelings because I feel like once he had time to think about it, he wouldn't hesitate. Maybe he would have been quiet about it at first, but judging by how bold he is in the last chapter, I figure he'd just go for it if he really wanted to.

I originally wanted to write some smutty possessive nonsense, but it just didn't come out that way. xP So sorry if this is crappy. I even initially wanted to keep it for myself since I found it so bad, but decided that I should share for the small few amount of YaraixKurusu fans... if there any, that is. xD I feel so alone.

But still, who knows... I might write another one. ;D
