Sorry folks, been busy and still am actually. I tried writing Gensis when things went even crazier. Wrote a bit of it, but might not be able to get to it for a while
....and now to get to the heart of the matter.
I had over 10 people saying they'd be interested in the contest and in the end, only two people submitted anything. O___O

I know later I'll be smacking my head, wonder why I didn't provide a better entry asking readers what happened, but for now I'll just be blunt.
What happened? O_O
Since only two people have submitted anything, I'm going to have to rethink this contest thing for a bit. The banner change will still take place, but there are just some things I need to figure out.

Er...sorry about that. ^^; I actually have two midterms during this week and all, so...I wasn't able to draw much in the last few weeks. My grades didn't go very nicely during this semester as of yet, so I wasn't able to do much drawing that fit the theme you stated, and not to mention that the drawings I could produce ended up falling short of the standards. =A=

To Black Singularity: Haha, it's cool. If you want, you can submit your drawing by December 10th. I have a feeling I won't be able to do anything until then anyways.

I really wanted to submit something...but I had exams and pile ups of work to do..... real life got in the way....but i do have one banner like half way done.....^_^; (i'll submit it once i'm done)

ReplyDeleteBut, I did manage to put aside an hour to try to make something, but that wasn't enough time and I guess I had been out of practice for a couple months so nothing I drew came out right. So, that’s why I didn’t end up submitting anything. :c I’m really really sorry about that. D:
Damn...it looks like I can only get a scanner on Monday. The one I have at home is in the storage, which is locked...though I have a drawing here that I did for a few hours...but, I might need to retrace it with black and white copic markers before I can submit anything. That and...the only means I could color it is with colored pencils.

Sorry, I haven't gotten a chance to reply till now. After the little break I had, I went straight to finals, and now I am back at home for winter break. Took some time to rest and catch up with family and friends. ^___^
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome and don't worry about it. You're the creator of the contest and it was around the time for mid-terms and such so people were bound to get busy. Luckily I had a bit of free time to finish a submission for the contest. :D
